Robusta Kaapi Royale

Our 100% Robusta is sourced from one of the oldest estates in Coorg, Karnataka. The berries are manually plucked by the locals of the region and selectively sorted to ensure only 100% ripe cherries are chosen, with semi-ripe, green berries, and leaves removed. The bright cherries undergo a washed process and are then shade-dried, where they are raked regularly at intervals of two hours. The berries are carefully covered after sunset to protect them from nighttime moisture and uncovered in the late morning to ensure they receive full sunlight.
This is India’s finest washed Robusta, celebrated as a specialty coffee on a global level. This A-grade coffee is free from primary defects, ensuring exceptional quality. Known for its full body and a cup profile dominated by spice and chocolate notes, it surprises with its smoothness, lacking the bitterness often associated with Robusta. A global favorite in espresso blends, Kaapi Royale enhances espressos with its ability to produce a beautiful crema. This heavy-bodied coffee is truly a selection to savor.
